Potassium Reflection

As I was searching, I found out that elements are very important for our body. Elements are part of enzymes, hormones and cells of the body that helps us to maintain a healthy life and also, they are required for our existence. We can have an example of the importance of the elements on Potassium (the element I searched for); Potassium is essential for building muscles, preventing strokes, breaking down carbs, maintaining body growth, controlling acid-base balance and so on, imagine ourselves without this element, we would probably be short, and there wouldn’t be any balance on the control of acid-base, we wouldn’t be as healthy as we are, but most adequate, as we aren’t. Indeed, we need to accept that without elements or compounds, we wouldn’t exist, because, even if this sounds a little bit strange, we are MADE of elements and compounds.

CFC's and Molybdenum Reflection

Personally I think that we need all the compounds and all the elements, even the ''bad ones'', because that way, we keep a balance on the world. It's all about getting to know the compounds and elements in our sorroundings, and their properties. That way, we get the world's benefit, but also our benefit. For a better world, let's take care of the earth, let's get to know.

Team's Reflection

There are some elements more important that other’s but each of them play a significant roll into the development of our body, as we saw on classes, Hydrogen and Carbon are the most important ones, but as we were searching, we found out that there are still more elements in our body that the ones that we thought, elements are basically the ones that permits us the life, without them, we would not exist. And the human body is not only composed by elements, we are made up of compounds as well.
Human body depend on elements and compounds for its development, we are all elements and compounds.

Final Reflection

In this section of the webpage, we are going to share with you a final reflaction each member of the team, and at the end, the reflection we made together about the development of this project.

Miss Leilania, we admire you:'3

Interview

We live daily with chemicals, including some for which we need our body function properly and in a natural way, but we must take into account that not all chemicals are good for us, and those who are good, they are just as well in correct portions, no more, no less. We need to learn more about the chemicals that surround us to take them well in mind and avoid that we can suffer from diseases for the simple fact that he has mismanaged the substance.

The importance of the chemical elements in our body

In my case my reflection is going to be about the chemical element that I talked about: sulfur

Sulfur is very, very important in our surroundings, but is more important in our body, sulfur helps us in a lot of activities that our body makes but also is an important integrant of some substances that are important in a lot of processes. Although the quantity of sulfur in human body is minimum (0,25 %), if it is absent or in low quantities can really affect in our organism. That’s why we have to be conscious that we need and check if truly we are helping our body to do what it needs
